Hasbro Speaks "Game Stats"

Heres the latest from Hasbro about MCS.

MONOPOLY City Streets has officially ended! Thank you to everyone - all 5 million of you from across the world - who played during the past three months. We have compiled results from all the data collected during the game and wanted to share a few “fun facts” about the game.

•During the three months of the game, there was an online building boom - players purchased nearly 9 million streets and built more than 175 million buildings.

•Players enjoyed using the new sabotage elements of the game with nearly 1.8 million hazard buildings built and more than 2.5 million buildings destroyed.

•Negotiation was certainly a big part of the game for those who wanted to get ahead, but 52 percent of all offers were declined.

•While any city and street were up for grabs, there were definitely some properties that were more desirable by players than others. Here’s a snapshot of the most popular city and street searches:

How are the stats from the first three months relevant which were marred by the rent change, multi-exploits, a restart, and bugs galore?

Players enjoyed using the new sabotage elements of the game with nearly 1.8 million hazard buildings built and more than 2.5 million buildings destroyed.

I wonder what percentage of the 1.8million hazards and 2.5 million demos were bots/multi-accounts.

Not surprising since rejected offers were mostly from being outbidded in auctions and people using the offer/reject method for tax evasion.

I'm surprised that I'm surprised that they have found a way to disappoint and fall short of expectation even after the game is over.

Gabe, The lack of info and interest from Hasbro makes it clear how little they think of the game , it seems they may have dismissed it and given it up. We hope thats not the case but the lack of further info on the MCS blog and the minimal effort they've put into it since the end of the game make us wonder if we've seen the end of MCS
