Waiting for MCS

Where oh where has our Monopoly gone. The Hasbro information vacuum continues, and the lack of news or announcements make us wonder if we'll ever see the game again.

The following article was recently refered to on Market Poly from this German web site
We've translated it for you below.

More than five million on-line players found this autumn the way in the Browser game Monopoly city Streets. At the beginning of the month operator Hasbro finished the play events suddenly and left behind thousands of disappointed players.
Hasbro has not conceded only three-month lifetime - any more to the browser play. Enthusiastically millions monopolists rushed at the beginning of September in persistente Browsergame Monopoly city Streets. About Google Maps users could buy every street of the world and fill with houses. Originally the play had been begun only for advertising purposes and thus it is not surprising that the play has come to an end few days ago. The free Browser game should promote only the new board play and disposed of no draught to finance itself.
Now operator Hasbro clarified, the play remains off-line. The unexpected bugs and problems which walked along with the exessive use are too extensive. A bright spot remains: Should a Micro Payment system on the legs be put and the problems from the test be repaired, nothing more is in way of a new Monopoly play on the Internet.

It sounds vaguely hopeful i suppose , or am i clutching at straws?

We believe that MCS will likely return, In what form who can say. We guess that after the holidays we may hear something from them but we won't count on it.
