Magic Street

Magic Streets
A player showed up in MP chat yesterday with this street. He said that he could build one specific building endlessly, something he found by accident. The cone doesn't seem to go away after building, so they just pile up. We'd heard about this earlier in the game, but here's the proof.  This road is priceless and I've kept the owners identity secret. 6000+ buildings on a 34 mil street, over 4 bil in rent. We wonder how the street handles hazards/bonuses. If he could bury the bonus bldgs on the same spot, would attackers not be able to get him. Could this be a un-attackable street too?

"Monopoly Wives"

"Monopoly Wives"

For the last months MCS has dominated our lives. As we build, bargain, and buy our way to glory and global domination, our poor spouses/partners/families have had to hear all about it. Our family, and friends are all sick of hearing about what streets we own, what our standings are, etc...We invite you all, to share your views, if you can get away from building for a second.  How has this has effected / impacted your lives.

with prizes of at minimum a +25 mil (likely much larger) base street and some cash to build it up. These games over the next days will let us try some game play concepts, and familiarize you with the game play, rules, etc.....
The first game we play is just like the other day, so please refer to
the previous game post for rules.
If you have questions, game ideas, or other suggestions, please comment, and please vote on the poll so we know if your interested.

Fishing for Good Streets

What a week it's been, the street selling is in high gear. The movement of streets has been nothing but amazing. Auctioneers were searching to keep up with demand. We've searched the globe seeking the perfect streets to build up for the final run to the finish. We hope you got some good ones. Buying streets can be incredibly nerve racking. how many of you have waited days with your money tied up in a bid. Over half your savings tied up unusable at this critical point of the game. We feel if you don't like the bid, reject it outright, this does not apply to a timed auction scenario of course as it has an actual ending time. I saw mentioned that a seller had several thousand offers, thats just scary. OK so why did we pick fishing as the metaphor. First off we love fishing, expecially fly fishing so the tie in is natural. Once as a teen I was at Russian River, Alaska during a salmon run, there were fisherfolk lined up shoulder to shoulder for miles.
This street frenzy reminded me of that. I did own the Russian River Camp ground road early in the game but sadly it was not a keeper.

Banking In MCS

Banking In MCS  Most players are utilizing some kind of banking arrangement as their available cash rises and the potential for a chance card Disaster looms. There are a variety of ways to bank  funds in MCS, most people are depending on friends and family to make offers on each others streets. This is usually a great arrangement until your sibling decides they could actually use that money.(I've witnessed this first hand)     We have decided to offer this service to anyone that needs a safe spot to drop some loot.

 Wow Street:
(names have been removed to shelter the innocent)
This is what can be built without the 400 building limits.
Anyone come across streets this developed? We're curious.
Please don't reveal the street or owner details unless
they're your roads, just the numbers will do.
We are trying to decide what to do with all the Mbucks.
As we've said all along we plan on sharing this out,
through games,
giveaways and even donations.

Rhodes Cellar Auction News

Welcome Visitors,
I'd like to begin by explaining how this auction came about.
My family has been playing the MCS game since the beginning and all were enthusiastically playing until recently. Due to the lack of time or interest, family members started dropping out of the game. We had seen the auctions on the blog and thought it would be fun to have our own with all our hard worked streets going to the highest bidder. Having seen some of the difficulties some sellers had with accusations of cheating, street hoarding etc.. I decided to create this account name to test the waters and sold some streets as an experiment. It seemed that all was well and we've decided to go ahead with this larger auction to begin to disperse our streets back to the game. Not wanting to just click, sell to bank, and lose all the work and time we put in we thought perhaps this was a fun way to get the streets back into the game and see the results.
So here we are today.
