Magic StreetsA player showed up in MP chat yesterday with this street. He said that he could build one specific building endlessly, something he found by accident. The cone doesn't seem to go away after building, so they just pile up. We'd heard about this earlier in the game, but here's the proof. This road is priceless and I've kept the owners identity secret. 6000+ buildings on a 34 mil street, over 4 bil in rent. We wonder how the street handles hazards/bonuses. If he could bury the bonus bldgs on the same spot, would attackers not be able to get him. Could this be a un-attackable street too?
May still have to send him an offer for it. Anyone else seen streets like this ?

I may hold a street sale of all my remaining streets from the several accounts I have, but that won't be until the weekend, if I can even be bothered.
The game was fun up until this point, although I have to confess that I was starting to get bored with it a little bit.

ReplyDeleteThat sort of thing seems to be happening a lot lately. Street stealing is becoming a real problem, How does it happen, Berrys how did they get it, was it on a rejected offer? Its very unclear how this is happening, if any one has details on how your streets were taken, let us know
I think somehow my password was either stolen or bypassed. My top street and all my cash seem to have been exchanged for a 100k street in Florida. I knew something dodgy was going on when my password didn't work this morning. I was able to reset it, but of course, at that point it was already too late. And however it's done it could happen again. So I've moved my streets to my "banking" accounts in the hope that whoever did it won't be able to steal any more of my streets.
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame because I had reached the UK national leader board, although no hope of ever catching Wynn or even Owldeath.
I'm still thinking about a street sale at the weekend. Some good streets (10-25 million base, straight E-W), although pretty much fully developed, along with some less desirable streets (5-10 million base), and a lot of dross which will probably end up being sold back to the bank.
It's a frightening thought for everybody if it's possible to change somebody's password without having to know their secret question. A bit like the "protocol bypass" that allows hazzards to be placed on a street while there are still bonus buildings on it.

ReplyDeleteThe flaws are endless it seems, clearly some ridiculously unscrupulous players in this game, Its sad that on a free game with no prize, people resort to thievery just because they can. Weeks from the end, we wonder what other kinds of foolishness will transpire.
