I havent got one that big, but i did get three within the space of about 5mins totaling 9.2Bil, which was 54% of my total cash!!

If you were to offer $3,000 USD then you may have dozens of people offering up their 30million $ streets.
You offer 30 billion M$ and far fewer will respond.
Hey if you want to pay $3,000 USD for my 30billion M$, My wife might shut up about my spending time on Monopoly, since then I would have paid 2 months health care COBRA payments.

We'll keep our eyes out for a long street for you Simon, although over 30s have gotten rare. Market poly is a good spot but I'd only deal with direct buy, or your money may get tied up for days,weeks ,or forever..

ReplyDeleteIs that how much he wants or just a guess? I have had a look at that street and it would be a very good one to have as its got lots of east to west straight is int, so you can pack buildings together closely, maybe i should have saved my money, as M$115 is cheap for a 100mil base street
Problem is most people's computers aren't good enough and will run out of memory or cpu power and possibly crash the browser. Quite a few have issues with 40 or 50 sized ones.
ReplyDeleteI have just compared a 7.9Mill with a 5.3mil straight E-W. The 7.9mil is curvey and no straight areas at all. Using stairway to the futures to maximum and back filling I was able to get the 7.9mil to have rent of 644M and the 5.5mil has rent of 663M.
Sooo the wriggly road is 1.42 times as long as the EW straight one. A 'rule-of-thumb' is wriggly roads need to be over 1.5 times as long as EW straight ones to be more productive in rent at capacity. For NS vs EW I got about 1.05.
Example:
1. EW 10.0 Million straight
2. NS 10.5 Million straight
3. Wriggly 14.3 Million
when using Stairway to the future and back fill, these all produce approx the same rent when filled to capacity.

ReplyDeleteI was bidding on 97th ave (or 735 Rd) and was outbid with 8B. SO I bid 11b. BUT I cannot find it now. The 8B bid disappeared also. Now I am back as top bidder on both streets @6B each.
I logged out and back but my 11B bid is still holding my 11B money.
Is there anything you can do on your end, WYNN T ?

ReplyDeleteI may have rejected the offer thinking that the person did not realize that it was NOT a 13million base but only 2.3million base with 11million restaurant added. I think 3 billion was offered. I felt that he was ignorant and I should not take advantage of that.

ReplyDeleteUpon logging in this morn, I found a whole series of offers. Your orig and the 2nd try on a diff street. I can return the 2nd batch of M$ as I don't want to be unfair to others.
There was some slow process on my machine that may have been the delay.
I get those pesky tax cards, but manage the amounts enough that its no record in anyone's book. While spending 8B, I lost 766mil with 3 chance tax cards. I make a bunch of offers to tie up cash and work with 6-10 buildings of cash left. So with Stairways thats 400-600mil and tax is less than that each time. After 6 or 7 chuncks of 600 I get all my chance cards. Then its just spend like crazy until all the $$ are used up. And all the rejections are back.
Unless you really want my small tax cards.

Wynn T is such an nice guy, he may sell you that street for what is affordable to you. After today's income maybe 8B. Then you can build like crazy for a week or so.

ReplyDeleteI'll spend up the amount of the one buy to move some of those streets. It is almost payday again. I'll do that later tonight. I think I have had one (measly) sale of 2mil street. Lotta interest in 4 & 5mil ones. Sometimes I get offers of 6mil for 5.7mil street. Others offer 100 and even 200 for same thing. I have been approving offers over 50M for the 5mil streets.
I have only found one 5mil in last 4 days. My waiting to sell streets are dwindling down. If only a few newbies could show up and appreciate someone offering 2mil streets at bank pricing.

Hi Bloggers, It looks as if the main MCS blog is dead - I recently posted something and it didn't show up. I was one of the original bloggers (nick was "donlad") back in the days of Max Power and Flat Stanley - I see Wynn T is doing very well! Then I happily found this blog :) Keep up the good work Rhode!! I would happily pay very good money/asking price for a long street - say 10M plus? - immediate payment! I've reached my limit can't build anything now and will sadly have to quit unless I can buy something bigger. Sorry but I don't know the procedure to submit a bid - not an experienced buyer you know :) My game nick is "georgian" - hope I can trust people here. I tried a couple of unsuccessful bids before coming here but those people didn't even have the courtesy to REJECT the bids so the m$ still sit in limbo.

ReplyDeleteCurrently we only have 5 and 6 mil base streets, we'd be happy to take any price from you with that nick, It's all we can do at the moment. Keep an eye here for auction announcements as well the sellers posting here are good and will usualy find a way to help.
To bid on a sellers streets you must add them to your friends list under the MCS leaderboards button at the bottom of the game screen. In the pop up window you'll find the friends tab, then add friend.
